DDC, BOTDF, & Brokencyde

Dot Dot Curve, Blood on the Dance Floor and Brokencyde, are just a few of the up and coming "scene" bands out there. They all seem to have a combination of skin tight clothes, wacked out hair, and the look of that a rainbow barfed on them. :)

Brokencyde's music is considered crunk. A lot of deranged screaming and rapping. Warning: most of their songs have foul language. I guess if you are into that kind of stuff I suggest you listen to Schitzo & Yellow Bus by them.

Dot Dot Curve is very simliar to Brokencyde, but a little less screaming and more rapping... actually maybe it's that the screaming isn't so manly sounding.. more feminine sounding. They have less foul language in their songs, but they have way more innuendos. >_< width="480" height="385">

Shiloh

Finally Girl Power rock bands are coming back!

Shiloh's husky vocals combined with songs about wreaking havoc, shows off the fact that she may be short and sweet but is able to kick your butt. She doesn't care what anybody else thinks.

Some of her stuff reminds me a bit of when Avril Lavigne started up. However they are totally different. Her music is more pop rock/pop punk, but with a soul full R & B twist.

Mary Go Round - Josh Golden

I discovered 16 year old Josh Golden while reading OceanUp the other day. I figured it was just another cookie cutter Disney Star that was coming up. But when I watched his new music video "Mary Go Round" I saw that he wasn't typical Disney crap.

True he looks a tad like a poser for a scene kid, but honestly I think later on whenever he gets a bigger budget for music videos and recording studio time I think he'll be great!

Okay who else thinks he look scarily like a younger Adam Lambert? 0.0
